I am a blog delinquent...

So, I've been a little busy lately...and thus neglected this space. It's amazing how time flies when you're having too much fun. The real reason I guess is because I haven't created anything new lately to show you. But, I will be busy this week finishing up a present for a friend, which I will have to post next week for you. And, I am going to NYC over the MLK holiday which means I should be coming home with lots of inspiration!! And some new photos to scrap. :)

Stay tuned folks, cause I'm still here.

Out with 07, in with the new year...and the ick...

So, I really have been meaning to post something, anything since last weekend. The trouble is that I came down with a terrible cold just after the new year. This is the stay in bed and feel worthless kind of cold. Yeah, you know the one I am talking about.

Anyhow, I do apologize for not updating the site. I should be all better very soon, I hope. But in the meantime, I wanted to share this lovely card I made as a birthday card for a friend. I used the online class of the lovely miss Anso over at Glitter Adventure. I altered it a bit by adding some lapels and a top knot to the tie. If you look at her class, you will see what I am talking about. Once of the things I loved best about this project was the effect of stacking foam stickers on top of each other. It's kind of hard to tell from the photos, but the collar really pops because it is stacked on top of the lapel piece of the black.

This card was really easy to make, and what I like best about the design is that I could easily alter the look with different papers. I really want to try a Willy Wonka look. Purple suit with red velet tie? Yeah, it could be good.
