Hoppy Easter!

I am thankful for today. Thankful for family and blessings and a Savior that lives.

Things in scrapworld have been rather depressing lately. I'm afraid all of my creativity is being saved for this interview I have coming up on the 31st of this month. I have to teach a 5-minute lesson, and I plan on incorporating some of my scrap-talent in my project. That's going to keep me pretty busy this week, so hopefully, I will be back to a more regular schedule once I am over that hump.

I did check out an incredible new used bookstore this weekend. It's called McKay Used Bookstore, and if you're anywhere near the Nashville area, you should definitely go check it out because they have a lot o' stuff, and great prices.

Monday, Monday

The previous post was one that I wrote yesterday but realized that I didn't link to the website properly, so I just edited it and now it dates the entry as today. I guess I am still trying to figure out this whole blogging thing.

Today was a Monday in every sense. I hate Mondays, especially after long weekends. I couldn't focus on my work, and I was slugglish. Fortunately, I have some nice things later this week to cheer me up - one being a movie night tomorrow! A few of my friends and I started a movie club about a year ago and from time to time, we get together and eat potluck style and enjoy a film together. I'm not sure what movie we're watching, but I know that dinner is Pad Thai, which is SUPER exciting.

Also, SUPER exciting are new episodes of How I Met Your Mother. I watched the Saint Patrick's eppy tonight and was not disappointed. According to reports, Britney Spears is guest starring on next week's episode. That should be...interesting, to say the least.

I stopped by the library this afternoon to pick up a couple of books that were put on hold for me there. I finished reading Pride and Prejudice for the first time ever tonight, so I am glad to have something to start reading next. P&P was really good but I am especially looking forward to reading the next thing I have picked out because it's part of the BPP's new book club!

It's called In the Country of Men by Hisham Mater. I can't wait to get into it. In fact, I think that's what I'll do next.

Have a good evening!

Updates, Updates, Updates...

So, it's been a really long time since I wrote a new post, and that's my fault for being so busy. I've neglected my paper projects lately, but I think I've decided that this blog should be a little broader than paper. So, while I'm not paper crafting, I'll be throwing in a few things that I find interesting, funny, or just plain cool. I'll still showcase my work, but I will share more of the things that inspire me as well.

First example:

This is just so darn cool, I had to post about it. It's called Dialtones (A Telesymphony). The video explains it pretty well, so I'll let you take a look.
